These terms apply to use of the Ring Sizer iOS app and its official support website.
Measurement estimate — no fit guarantee
Ring Sizer provides an estimated sizing reference based on the calibration and measurements you perform. Results are not a guarantee that a particular ring will fit. A displayed size may differ from a jeweler’s result or from the size that feels comfortable in actual use.
Accuracy can be affected by incorrect or skipped calibration, an inaccurately measured ring or finger, a ring that is not held flat, failure to align the guide with the true inner edge, paper-strip placement or marking errors, device/display differences, finger swelling or temperature, band width, ring profile, manufacturing tolerances, and differences between sizing standards or jewelers.
Before buying, ordering, resizing, engraving, or otherwise committing to a ring, independently confirm the size with the jeweler, seller, manufacturer, or a physical ring-sizing tool whenever fit matters.
Do not rely on Ring Sizer as the sole basis for an irreversible or costly purchase decision.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for following the in-app instructions, calibrating accurately when requested, positioning the ring, finger, or paper strip correctly, checking the result, and deciding whether additional verification is appropriate. If you measure inaccurately or use an unsuitable reference, the resulting size may also be inaccurate. The app is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
Purchases
Paid access is purchased through Apple’s in-app purchase system. The app may use RevenueCat to retrieve offerings and confirm entitlements. The price and purchase terms shown by Apple at checkout control the transaction. Restore Purchases can be used for eligible purchases associated with the same Apple ID.
Availability and changes
Features, sizing tables, support content, and remotely configurable behavior may be adjusted to improve reliability, compliance, or usability. Material changes to data collection or paid access will be accompanied by appropriate disclosure.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app or website, interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use them in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.
Warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ring Sizer and this website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of accuracy, fit, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that a displayed ring size, diameter, circumference, conversion, or comparison will be exact for every person, device, ring, jeweler, sizing standard, or manufacturer.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer and operators of Ring Sizer are not responsible for losses, costs, damages, replacement costs, resizing fees, shipping charges, missed occasions, or other consequences arising from reliance on an inaccurate measurement or sizing result, including where the result was affected by user measurement error, calibration error, jeweler/manufacturer sizing differences, device limitations, or normal variation in finger size.
Where applicable law does not allow a particular exclusion or limitation, that exclusion or limitation applies only to the maximum extent the law permits. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer right, statutory warranty, or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
